Gratitude

We are a house in constant turmoil, issues here and issues there. Be that as it may; we are a home with bountiful love. Here are some shots of an evening or two in our home.

We have a great talent for being ridiculous!

 Such a familiar look...

 An everlasting love of cheerios!!!
Ignore the dirty walls and the threadbare sofa, lets just say even the very furnishings are showing the wear of love.

Seems as though there are an exorbitant amount of photos of Tristyn here...He seems to be everywhere all at once. Look at the love he shares with everyone he knows, even the furry ones.

  3. Hello Kitty!
In this day of angst we do need to stop and enjoy the simple pleasures, the gifts that come free, and just enjoy each other’s c company. I like your phrase, “the wear of love.” Your photos make me smile. How many pets do you have Jan?

    1. Thank you Debra, I have, Oh my let me count, There is Ori, a big fat grumpy 14 yr. old male kitty, then Kitten, our stub tailed 10 yr old kitty, Teddy the ginger who loves and talks continuously he is 5, Sissy the grey striped is 3 and a snob, loves her mama but is quite stuck up with the children, Then the little princess Amelia, only a few months old and a bundle of affection and love. Of course then there is Yona our pug, who will put up with nearly anything as long as she gets the love she is so in need of. Besides these we also have a beautiful male tuxedo kitty of about 13 yrs old that for some reason moved out a couple years ago. He stays at the neighbors now coming home once in awhile to visit and get some cuddles. He prefers big dogs over our small Yona, lives with the pit bull net door...lol. So add it up we have 5 live in cats, a wanderer, and Yona. Oh and our turtle Myrtle.

  5. Given yesterday's sorrowful events here in the U.S. and also in the Far East, it was lovely to visit these images again. Children being happy, secure and loved is right, good and natural. My heart was soothed a wee bit.
